If you've been thinking about breaking into gaming journalism, this is your opportunity to play new titles and write reviews that help others decide what to play next. We'll train you from the ground up, and we offer both full-time and part-time roles so you can fit this work into your life however works best.
Roles
- Play through mobile apps and create thorough, detailed reviews of your experience.
- Evaluate how apps perform, how easy they are to use, and what the overall experience is like.
- Keep up with what's new and trending in the mobile app space.
- Work alongside our editorial team to brainstorm and plan out content direction.
Rate: $35 per hour (Depending on the complexity of the app and detail required for the review).
Contract length: No fixed term.
Requirements
- You don't need any background in writing or app testing—we'll teach you what you need to know.
- Genuine enthusiasm for testing and reviewing mobile apps.
- Solid writing abilities with the skill to express ideas clearly.
- Someone who takes initiative, works well solo, and meets deadlines consistently.
- Access to a smartphone or tablet to test apps on.
- A stable internet connection.
Hours per week: Flexible.
Location: Remote work globally (USA preferred). We are currently expanding the number of remote workers for these positions significantly.
